Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Marketing & Customer Business Specialist. The ideal candidate possesses technical, commercial, and/or aftermarket experience in the gas turbine engine industry. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in building a brand and selling services.

EngineWise, our new service platform brings together state of the art data analytics, investments in new technology, a growing service portfolio and improved customer connectivity to optimize the performance of your engines. EngineWise represents a commitment to share intelligence with customers to develop the best solutions together. From a single engine overhaul to comprehensive fleet management, we are delivering straightforward solutions to reduce total cost of ownership and optimize fleet availability.

The position is based at Pratt & Whitney Headquarters in East Hartford, Connecticut and you may travel approximately 20% of the time to conferences, tradeshows, customers and aftermarket facilities.

Position Overview:

  • Working with customer-facing team (sales, customer service) as well as service programs, communications and senior management to build P&W's value proposition for service offerings and help win sales campaigns
  • Create toolkit to arm customer-facing teams
  • Evaluate aftermarket sales campaigns – determine reasons for win/loss and identify improvement areas
  • Collect, evaluate and distribute competitive data relative to P&W’s current services/positioning; provide insights on aftermarket to customer-facing teams
  • Represent P&W at industry events (conferences, tradeshows, discussion panels)
  • Develop and rollout aftermarket brand initiatives – services offerings, service structure, messaging etc. to differentiate the EngineWise brand
  • Develop content for external press releases by working in conjunction with P&W Communications to reach and influence industry perception
