We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer Supervisor at our Troy location:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include:

  • Provide direction to ensure processes, including equipment, fixturing, fixture design, routings, programming, tooling, and standard work, required to produce aircraft components are available as needed, on time and appropriate for the application.

  • Continually improve quality and productivity using the Ace Operating System for products and processes including compliance to these processes.

  • Develop, justify, and install large capital projects in support of production requirements. Identify, implement and oversee all Cost Savings as related to direct and indirect labor savings, and expense account budgets.

  • Provide technical support direction to tooling identification and selection in coordination with department NC Programmers.

  • Develop plan for all new product introduction for manufacturing and lead the department as direct liaison between Management, Value Streams, Quality Assurance, EH&S and Design Engineering.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a manufacturing related engineering field with 5 years minimum experience in a 3D designing CAD software (Pro E, Master CAM or Solid Edge) and support of manufacturing operations with a focus on machining and problem solving.
  • Candidate will have experience with the continuous improvement philosophy including working within an environment that embraces the daily use of these tools in a team environment.
  • This candidate will have experience operating within a fast paced manufacturing company.
  • This candidate will have excellent presentation skills utilizing tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • This candidate will have excellent communication skills in leading people and excellent team building skills
  • All candidates must be able to verify U.S. Person Status as defined by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Education Bachelor’s degree in a Manufacturing related engineering field with 5 years minimum experience in a 3D designing CAD software
