Pratt & Whitney's aftermarket Engine Services Fleet Programs group is seeking a fleet manager to join our team. Pratt & Whitney is undergoing significant growth and is poised to be a leader in commercial engine sales and engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities. Our fleet managers are on the front line of administering aftermarket business opportunities and play a key role in driving the Company’s profitability.

The Fleet Programs group manages long-term engine maintenance agreements with commercial airline customers. The combined size of our business portfolio of contracts is over $30B in lifetime sales. Contractual services include engine overhaul and repair, on-wing and off-wing maintenance planning, coordination of on-wing services, engine health monitoring and logistical support.

Fleet managers oversee and own a piece of our business portfolio and focus on two key functions: (1) working with airline customers to deliver contract services and ensure reliable operations and (2) proposing and executing strategies for optimizing the profitability of assigned contracts.

Fleet managers also work directly with airlines in a customer-facing capacity to seamlessly deliver contracted engine services and ensure reliable engine operations. Of paramount importance is maintaining timely and accurate engine removal forecasts, scheduling customer engines for required maintenance, and coordinating work with engine center network shops and Engine Services technical teams to manage the maintenance work scope and cost of each engine shop visit.

Lastly, the selected candidate will utilize strong teamwork and business acumen skills to lead teams of analysts who perform technical evaluations in addition to financial and data analyses. This responsibility includes providing oversight to the annual contract valuation process and supporting new sales and contract restructuring campaigns.

United Technologies Corporation is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or veteran status, age or any other federally protected class.
