The Maintenance Supervisor will directly supervise day-to-day activities of the mechanical maintenance staff, monitor the distribution of work, training and development, and staff performance management. Specifically, the Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising employees and contractors, monitoring preventive maintenance programs, overseeing facility repairs, maintenance planning, and managing the execution of capital projects and outages for the purposes of equipment overhaul and repair.


To be considered for this position, you must have a solid background in power and/or industrial plant maintenance, preferably with a minimum of 5 years of first-line supervisory responsibilities, and experience in planning and coordinating major maintenance/overhaul projects. Must possess solid administrative and computer skills and experience with Excel.  Knowledge with computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) applications such as PeopleSoft and/or Maximo is a plus. A combination of technical training and/or work experience will be considered in lieu of a college degree.
