Job Details

Plan, coordinate and/or direct the activities of the Maintenance Section (HDPE and HDA), including maintenance of all equipment, supervision of the warehouse, and execution of capital and maintenance projects. Primary efforts are directed toward keeping plant equipment operational and reliable; execution of daily maintenance activities; execution of projects; optimizing use of money, materials, manpower and machinery, and maintaining high standards of safety, housekeeping and employee relations; managing the CSP+ project for the Bayport site.

Ensure the plant meets operational objectives by coordinating maintenance activities to maintain the plant operating equipment in a safe, reliable and working condition

  • Formulate systems and methods to reduce long-term maintenance expense
  • Plan and execute shutdown and turnaround work to minimize cost and downtime for the facilities
  • Ensure high efficiency, quality and responsiveness of the maintenance organization to internal customers
  • Develop and administer programs for routine and preventive maintenance for long-term reliability
  • Prepare annual maintenance expense budgets and develop plan for maintenance projects for capital budget
  • Analyze and control contracts of various services ranging up to $3MM
  • Ensure the site adheres to local, state and federal regulatory requirements when conducting maintenance activities.
  • Support the elements of the integrated management system (MAESTRO)
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA’s PSM standard through the technical/mechancial integrity program
  • Manage relationship with TSUSA in a manner to ensure a high level of service for all parties while ensuring a positive work environment
  • Understand, support and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures including the use of loss control software for loss control reporting and communication
  • Meet individual responsibilities for process safety as defined in LCM 2.06 Appendix B



  • B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Other engineering/technical degrees will be considered depending on individual experience)
  • 10 years experience with plant operations (maintenance experience is a plus), with 3 years of supervisory experience
  • Strong verbal/written communication with presentation ability
  • Above average interpersonal skills including proficiency at conflict resolution
  • Aptitude for organization and ability to multi-task
