Job Details

The University of New Hampshire at Manchester invites applications for a full-time faculty position of Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering Technology in the Applied Engineering and Sciences Department, beginning in the Fall 2017 semester. Qualified candidates are expected to have a Ph.D or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Desired areas of expertise include mechanical design and analysis. This expertise would include experience in at least some of the following areas: machine design; structural analysis; materials properties; manufacturing. Preference will be given to candidates with a combination of industry and teaching experience. Familiarity with supervision of laboratory facilities is desirable.

 

This is a non-tenure track appointment, with a one-year renewable. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate courses at the junior and senior level. A typical course load is three courses per semester.
