Pratt & Whitney Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) is a dynamic engineering organization focused on the development and certification of military, commercial and industrial gas turbine engine control and diagnostic systems. CDS is responsible for all aspects of Pratt & Whitney engine control and diagnostic system development and the integration the control and diagnostic system design across other engine system modules and major component supplies.

This posting is for a Control System Project Analyst (PA) for military and commercial engine programs. The PA will provide financial and engineering support to the CIPT with budget development, earned value (EV) reporting, supplier management, risk tracking, and managing of development and in service engine tracking.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and maintain budget plans for the CIPT.
  • Collaborate with project cost account managers (CAM) to support EV processes and manage project within acceptable cost and schedule variances
  • Work with financial analysts and CIPT leads to coordinate budget changes
  • Support CIPT in managing engineering outsourcing activities
  • Drive continual improvements in project management and financial practices
  • Maintain current status of all problem tracking systems
  • Risk management waterfall plans
  • Control System Dependencies
  • Support generation and presentation of configuration change support material
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with project budgets & schedules
  • Skilled in earned value management as applied to product development
  • Understanding of program/project management principles
  • Strong computer skills, specifically, MS Excel, SAP & Business Warehouse

The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary/multi-project team environment focused on developing and certifying mission critical embedded systems.
Education

A.S. in Engineering, Business, or Finance required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.
