The IPT Lead for Aftermarket Technology leads multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful identification, development and implementation of effective technology solutions into products and services. The Lead works with internal and external customers to identify new technologies as well as develop and execute plans, along with internal and external resource providers, to deliver technology benefits to P&W. The lead is responsible on his/her assigned projects to work to technology standard work inclusive of TRL progression, tracking and reporting financial and technical progress, work across divisions to coordinate technology development, and to maintain strong relationships with all relevant stakeholders. A key element of this position is analytical thinking skills needed to determine the right requirements definitions to enable the the best answer for the problem.

This position reports the Manager of Aftermarket Technology.
Qualifications The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years experience in aerospace production/development and a minimum of 3 years experience with repair and or manufacturing technology development.
Demonstrated experience working in teams and with developing and managing complex engineering programs is required.
Demonstrated experience in working with a wide stakeholder base, to include external entities, is required.
Ability to assemble and deliver effective presentations is required.
Previous experience in proposal development and management is required.
Direct special process knowledge, and especially welding, coatings or machining knowledge, is highly preferred.



Education The candidate must have a minimum of a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Engineering or equivalent. MS degree or higher preferred.
