Description: Description JobPurpose: Our Internship Programwill allow you to participate in a broad range of meaningful work experiencesthat are related to your interest and field of study. The students will be a group of trained and qualifiedstudents dedicated to supporting the National Grid customer experience bycomplementing Company resources and responding to customer questions andconcerns on: Energy efficiency choices (rates/rebates/technologyoptions) In home technology devices Customer troubleshooting Provide additional information on Home EnergyAssessments Connect to employee expertise as necessary Implement local education and outreach tactics on thebenefits of energy efficiency, ConnectedSolutions, solar and electric vehicles. In addition, the Internship Programshould create momentum to further identify local champions of the program andprovide opportunities for increased engagement, to teach customers to use newtechnology effectively, and to encourage participants to give feedback andsupport each other in technology applications. KeyAccountabilities: · Assist allcustomers in a very customer focused manner · Attend all EnergyInnovation and Energy Efficiency Training · Staff EnergyInnovation Hub for set shift - advise Energy Innovation Hub Manager if unableto staff shift · Answer customerquestions and refer any escalated questions to Energy Innovation Hub Manager ortechnical team · Assist customersin using technologies/in home displays control devices and electronicthermostats · Refer customerbilling concerns to call center personnel · Conduct EnergyInnovation Hub tours · Present at and orStaff community events or store events to promote benefits of energy savingtechnology for consumers · Present at K-12schools · Update SocialMedia platforms · Identifyingcustomer champions to share successes on Energy Innovation Hub · Assist indeveloping social pilot to attract people to the Energy Innovation Hub · Developpowerpoint presentations and other content as necessary · Lead projects toassist in Energy Innovation Hub operations · Attend bi-weeklystaff meetings to discuss any concerns · Secure buildingat the end of shift if applicable
Qualifications Knowledge& Experience Requirements: · Must maintain thefollowing academic standing for the entire duration of the assignment o GPA 3.2 minimumfor Graduate Students o GPA 3.0 minimumfor Undergraduate Students · AchievedSophomore level at minimum · At least 18 yearsof age · Authorized towork in the United States · Provide a validtranscript before beginning assignment · Working toward aBachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Environment, orEngineering · High level of Hub/officetechnology proficiency preferred · Excellent Englishcommunication proficiency (Spanish/Chinese/Vietnamese a plus) · Proficient inrelevant software e.g. Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). · Outstandingjudgment and professional demeanor
