We are seeking an Intern \- Business Management Project Professional Pipeline Graduate Summer\.



The Graduate Intern Pipeline Program is geared toward graduate students who are currently enrolled in an MBA or equivalent master's degree program\. The goal of this program is to create a pipeline of highly qualified interns interested in a career with Sandia upon graduation\. Pipeline interns will be provided with an in\-depth introduction to Sandia's mission and how their work contributes to that mission\. They will receive specialized Intern Pipeline Program training, mentoring, coaching, and performance on a regular basis and become with the culture\.



The Project Management team provides decision support to leadership on a broad range of business areas including financial planning, schedule management, resource management, trends and projections, workforce acquisition planning, and business processes\. Interns will be assigned a mentor and work on projects which may include some of the following responsibilities:



+ Participate in financial planning and analysis\.

+ Engage in Schedule Management in an Earned Value Management System\.

+ Develop business processes to facilitate program/project management\.

+ Analyze operations, processes, trends, resources, and projections to determine the most cost\-efficient methods to accomplish mission objectives\.

+ Prepare budgets, project schedules, and statistical reports\.

+ Learn and utilize project management software for monthly data analysis and reporting\.

+ Participate in negotiations with internal and external customers on matters of customer requirements and limitations\.



Required:



You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:



+ Earned bachelor's degree

+ Currently attending and enrolled full time \(or scheduled to graduate in the spring\) in an accredited graduate program

+ Minimum cumulative GPA of 3\.0/4\.0

+ Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer

+ U\.S\. citizenship

**Additional Requirements**



The ideal candidate will have a strong desire for a summer internship that may potentially lead to full\-time employment after graduation\.



+ Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering Management, Construction Management, or degree relevant to project control accountabilities and current enrollment in an MBA program or equivalent masters degree program\.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills\.

+ Ability to effectively communicate across project controls and business disciplines\.

+ Ability to obtain a U\.S\. DOE Q\-level security clearance\.



Desired:



+ Active Q or Top Secret clearance\.

+ Project management education and certification\(s\)\.

+ Experience with Earned Value Management principles and methodology\.

+ Experience with Primavera P6\.

+ Experience with COBRA or other Earned Value engine\.

+ Proficiency in tools and applications commonly employed in project management activities\.

+ Demonstrated teaming skills, including the ability to work effectively with other organizations, project sponsors and customers, and suppliers\.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interface with science and engineering technical management and staff\.

+ Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with management, customers, and stakeholders at all levels\.

The Nuclear Deterrence \(ND\) Programs are responsible for assuring the safety, reliability and security of U\.S\. nuclear weapons, enabling the defense of our nation through our nuclear strategic deterrent\. The ND Programs three principal thrusts are: \(1\) overseeing the enduring nuclear weapons stockpile; \(2\) innovative analyses and evolution of warhead systems, subsystems, and components; their production and deployment; along with the development of supporting technologies; \(3\) and the safe, effective, and environmentally responsible dismantlement and disposal of weapons retired from the stockpile\.

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\) granted Q\-level security clearance\.
