The Quality team is responsible for working closely with our producers to ensure we deliver affordable, high-quality parts that meet our customer's dynamic needs. The Integrated Product Team Quality Engineer will provide support to the Component Integrated Product Team and the Global Supply Chain organization. The candidate shall be highly motivated and an effective team player with strong technical and influential skills.

Major job responsibilities include (while not limited to):

Individual responsibilities include:

  • Support manufacturing and evaluating inspection methods
  • Support producibility assessments along with preliminary risk assessments associated with the component and supplier selection.
  • Support and provide guidance for design producibility and manufacturing product validation reviews.
  • Analyze data and evaluate quality processes such as PFMEA and MSA.
  • Understand and provide guidance relative to process certification including PW QA 6090.
  • Provide UPPAP guidance for future UPPAP approvals.

The Integrated Product Team Quality Engineer will also engage with the CIPT organization identifying design changes and work to modify existing specifications and procedures as appropriate.
