The Hot Section Engineering Mechanical Design Discipline Organization is looking for a highly motivated individual to be a Design Discipline Supervisor working with a Discipline Manager to support the PW1100G Combustor, Turbine and Mid-Turbine Frame CIPTs for the A320neo and Irkut MC-21 applications.

This is a supervisory position as part of the CIPT Leadership team in ensuring technical excellence, task execution and supporting manpower planning. There are also requirements for talent development and mentorship of the less experienced engineers. This position offers the opportunity to develop supervisory skils while retaining the capability to continue executing technical tasks. Excellent communication skills are highly desirable to work across the various levels of the organization from Program Chief Engineers, to recent hires into the organization.

This position along with the Discipline Manager will be responsible for developing and sustaining hardware to meet or exceed module and system requirements and will work collaboratively to solve problems with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and system design teams. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the tasks as assigned by the Discipline Manager and ensuing the successful execution of PW's engineering process called Engineering Standard Work.

Qualifications A minimum of ten (10) years of industry experience is required. Strong proficiency and a demonstrated record of accomplishments in the Mechanical Design discipline is required. A broad understanding of the components owned by HSE and the associated approaches applied to combustors, turbine airfoils, rotors, shafts, and frames/cases is desired.

Proven history in leading or materially contributing to component and/or system root cause investigations is required

Understanding of the ACE methodologies including process certification tools like Six Sigma is highly preferred.

US permanent resident alien status is required, US Citizenship is preferred
Education Minimum of a B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.

Advanced Engineering Degree or MBA are beneficial.
