Electrical Requirements:

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs process/production machines, robots, equipment and related electrical equipment, such as electrical control circuits from 24v up to and including 480v AC, electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation devices, PLCs / ladder logic controllers, and variable frequency drives as necessary.

Engineers and helps to procure spare parts.

Utilizes strong mechanical and electrical skills in order to complete assignments.

Recommends measures to improve maintenance methods and equipment performance.

Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.

Safely performs functions of the position including following proper safety guidelines such as job hazard analysis and lockout/tag out procedures and wearing PPE as required.

Operates various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments to help provide energy efficiency solutions.

Operates a variety of equipment such as hand tools, laptop computers and diagnostic hardware to perform work.

Other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Other General Facilities Responsibilities:

Must be a good people person and able to manage union maintenance technicians.

Must be able to communicate effectively with engineers and other managers on a daily basis.

Able to resolve technical issues with employees and engineers.

Oversee the quality of the Maintenance Technicians work.

Oversight of daily, weekly, and monthly work order assignments.

Reviews equipment data for potential improvements, monitors systems data for abnormal trends, and suggests adjustments.

Manages the development of new projects.

Be able to project manage construction and engineering related projects.

Troubleshoot computer controlled robots and complex equipment.

Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system upgrades.

Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs.

Solicit proposals for outsourced work.

Work with vendors and contractors to ensure they meet the safety requirements of the site.

Manage all maintenance to ensure the highest level of efficiency without disruption to the business.

Accurate and timely completion of work order requests.

Escalate issues to Critical Environment Facility Manager as needed.

Understands, identifies and implements new technologies at the site.

Creates presentations and publicly presents them to management.

Must have a very strong background and understanding of work related safety.

Manage workload in our electronic system facilities management system.

Build preventative maintenance requirements on simple to complex equipment in our electronic facilities management system.

Must have the ability to identify and correct any safety-related issues and perform independent equipment evaluations to identify potential equipment failures.

General Maintenance of equipment will also be required.
