F135 Fleet Operations is seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR), supporting the United States Air Force at Nellis Air Force (USAF) Base, NV; who are flying F-35A CTOL aircraft. Nellis is the USAF’s main pilot training base for weapons. It is also the home of Red Flag and has a long Pratt & Whitney (PW) history and presence.

The USAF FSR will work with a small P&W team consisting of a Base Engine Manager, Bond Room technicians current FSR's on site. Additional FSR's may be assigned as the Nellis fleet grows. Selected individual will assist with the following activities:

- Coordinate F135 propulsion system maintenance activities with the, flight line operating areas, squadron and Lockheed Martin maintenance operating areas.
- Perform controls activities related to aircraft download processing and analysis, propulsion system software loads, activations and monitoring of propulsion system Prognostic Health Monitoring, Engine Health Reporting Codes, and Maintenance Built In Test Systems (MBITS)

- Advise and assist the Customer in performance of F135 propulsion system maintenance, ensuring activities are performed IAW technical data and safe engine operation and maintenance procedures. Activities include fault isolation/troubleshooting and F135 repair actions consistent with the F135 Unit Level Maintenance Concept

- Support Government Property Management processes for program execution, to include but not limited to Support Equipment (SE), tooling, supply and government processes

- Work closely with P&W Customer Support Engineering to resolve technical and logistical problems involving F135 engine operation and maintenance through the use of the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Action Requests (AR) and the MERLIN System

- Use initiative and judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations to determine root causes, and implement corrective actions

- Actively support ACE initiatives and ensure employee safety by complying with and supporting EH&S activities

- Actively interface with local Nellis AFB personnel at all levels from senior leadership to the newest recruits.

- Provide timely insight to PW management relative to emerging issues and relationship with this newest P&W customer.
-Must be willing to flex schedule and all shifts to support customer requirements. Local staff will work out an appropriate schedule. Also be willing to participate in a shift rotation if implemented.

Note: Selected candidate is projected to remain at Nellis for at least 3 years, biased by unforeseen personal or program requirements.
