The F135 EAP/EV Program Manager is responsible for management of the Engineering Assistance to Production (EAP) activity and the program level management Earned Value (EV). The EAP/EV Program Manager will also participate in the budget distribution process for all LRIP WBS activity in support of the LRIP Program Manager. EAP is a $50M budget per year and its management is critical to successful delivery as well as meeting P&W financial goals. The program is managed using the EV tools and processes and is critical to our success.
Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and communicate EAP budgets to WBS managers, provide regular EAP status to WBS managers and PMO Management, and serve as the chair of the EAP funding board.
  • Conduct monthly EAC and schedule reviews along with Program Financial, Program Earned Value, and Program Planning & Scheduling organizations.
  • Maintain the EV forecast tool. Present the program level EV status at the customer Monthly Program Reviews and P&W internal Program Reviews.
  • Serve as PMO Control Account Manager (CAM)/L3 WBS Owner, write eCSVar variance explanations and provide LRIP forecast for PMO EV status, and monitor PMO EAC for LRIP contracts.
  • Assist Program Earned Value team with the publishing of the monthly IPMR (Integrated Performance Measurement Project Management Report) and ensure complete, quality data. Review Format 5 level Variance explanations and support monthly meetings to improve the quality and meet monthly business rhythm.
  • Support the F135 LRIP Program Manager in day-to-day contract execution activities for over $5B of LRIP contracts.

This position works closely with Engineering, Earned Value and Reporting, Program Planning & Scheduling, Program Finance Support, WBS Management, PMO management and various individuals, as well as the customer.

This position is an excellent stepping stone into the F135 Program Office and provides an opportunity to engage in learning all key program related activities.
