We seek a dedicated individual who will perform general housekeeping, inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment 480 volts or lower, and documentation.  This individual will work on a rotating on-call schedule to support plant operations during equipment breakdowns.  He will inspect, repair and/or replace electrical control wiring, electrical conduit, and plant electrical equipment 480 volts and lower.  He will troubleshoot and repair electrical component malfunctions on conveyors and perform corrective maintenance.  This individual will terminate electric motors 480 volts and lower. Reading and interpreting basic electrical schematics and taking readings using multi-meter is required.  Performing preventative maintenance on all plant electrical equipment of 480 volts and lower is required; as well as completing required documentation of work to be done and work accomplished. Reading, interpreting, and utilizing stores catalog and equipment manuals for technical clarification and requisitioning parts and materials are necessary.  This person will operate computer to access Maintenance Management Program for equipment history and work order review, both corrective and preventive.

To be considered for this position the individual must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years related experience and/or training as electrician helper or apprentice in industrial setting.  They have understanding of basic electrical theory.  Internal candidates must have completed qualification standards for prior position in company's line of progression.
