We seek a dedicated individual who will perform Electrician duties, not limited; but to also include:

  • General housekeeping,
  • Inspections,
  • Preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment 13.8 KV or lower,
  • Documentation.
This individual will work on a set schedule to support plant operations during all plant evolutions; to include the following:
  • Inspect, repair and/or replace electrical control circuits,
  • Variable speed controllers,
  • Plant lighting, and switchgear 13.8 Kv and lower.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical component malfunctions on plant equipment.
Perform corrective maintenance on the following:
  • Cranes,
  • Motors,
  • Conveyors,
  • Trommels,
  • Fans, etc.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Terminate electric motors 480 volts and lower.
  • Install conduit and wiring for new installations and
  • Make repairs to existing installations is required
  • Performing preventative maintenance on all plant Electrical Equipment is essential; as well as completing required documentation of work to be done and work accomplished.
  • Take readings using multi-meter, megger and oscilloscope is necessary,
  • Operate the computer to access Maintenance Management Program for equipment history and work order reviews (both corrective and preventive).

This individual will also be responsible for:
  • Reading and utilizing PLC ladder logic.
  • Reading, interpreting, and
  • Utilizing stores catalog and equipment manuals for technical clarification and requisitioning parts and material is required.

This is 3rd shift position. Work hours are 10:00 pm to 06:30 am.

Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED);

Three to five years related experience and/or training as Journeyman Electrician in industrial setting.
