Description: Description About the Position: The US Planning & Performance Management team provides a commonlevel of support, guidance and oversight of the projects funded by the USbusiness and of the performance of the US-based IS organization as it pertainsto performance expectations by the US CIO and US Executive Team. This roleis responsible for the creating an operational rhythm and being an unbiasedperspective of people and project performance across the US landscape. The role of the US head of PPM is to ensure andsupport that all IS investments, whether initiated by the business or by IS,are appropriately defined, reviewed, budgeted and sanctioned.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): US Governance & Sanctioning forIS projects Safety, Audit, Risk and Compliance Investment Planning Performance Metrics, Process andPerformance Hubs Reporting and Analytics (US Projectsand People) Regulatory compliance and relatedreporting Technical Support/Tools, Methods &Training Data Management BMS for US Team administration and management Budget management Job Dimensions: Direct reports: Manager of Performance andReporting (1), Manager of Governance and Controls (1), Sanction Analysts (2),Reporting and Tools Analysts (2), Training Specialist (1) Direct budget equivalent to staff and relatedtraining, travel and miscellaneous; indirect oversight and guidance for ~$130Mannual capital budget in project spend

Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required:
This role requires the ability to workseamlessly across all IS functions and teams, to influence and manageindirectly up and down the organization, with strong collaboration skills. A comprehensiveworking knowledge of the various IS teams, functions and people is critical tosuccess in this role, and a proactive, inquisitive approach to areas ofresponsibility. The ability to aligndetail and small activities to bigger goals and objectives, as well as theability to identify process, tool and capability changes necessary from the endstate in mind down to the working activities will help the person in this rolesucceed.
Specific knowledge and experience includes:
Working within and promoting the National Grid regulated environment, andrelated company policies and processes in place that support IS activitiesrelated to: Sanctioning Regulated reporting requirements Accounting and Procurement Project delivery framework and control points Rate case preparedness and inquiry response requirements Document retention and records management Methods and application of Performance and Process Excellence Team performance hubs Process performance hubs Performance service level agreements and associated reporting Process analysis and improvements (CPSn and PEX methods) Ability to visualize, present and assess project and people relatedreporting and analytics Present and discuss Executive level views, observations, insights anddrivers Understand relationship of data elements, timing of updates andimplications of changes in the overall reporting landscape and cycles Design thinking and management across various technologies that supportthe US planning, governance, sanctioning and reporting capabilities Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Office 365 Microsoft Project Online Tableau Desktop, Tableau Online, Alteryx InfoPath PowerPlan Data Management and Database tools, such as Access Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ChangeManagement methods and capabilities supporting Executive presentations, white papers, proposals Writing and promoting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), proceduresand policies Marketing and training on process, tool and behavior changes Facilitating and/or chairing workshops, governance committees,communities of practice Cultural and behavioral change through the stages of the change curve Conflict resolution Excellent executive-level stakeholdermanagement skills Strong coaching and collaboration skills, forwithin and across diverse and dispersed teams Strategic thinking and goal setting, aligningkey performance indicators with team and company objectives Strong project management skills Working knowledge with Project Management,Program Management, Program and Project Office and [people] Change Managementmethods and tools Accountable single source of detailed projecthistory in support of all inquiries supporting queries from the ExternalRegulatory Agencies funding National Grid Qualifications required: Bachelor Degree, minimum 10+ years of experience in a major services organization, withgovernance, project management, process oversight and reporting/analyticsresponsibilities Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts andstrategies, including communication, culture change and performance measurementsystem design Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders PgmP or PMP PMI© certified - Preferred, notrequired
