Description: Description About the position: TheProgram Manager is responsible for developing a cohesive strategy and managingthe overall performance of a specific program. Specifically,the responsibilities of the Program Manager will include achieving programtargets within budget, as well as the coordination of services, programofferings, and key performance indicators. Program Managers oversee multipleprojects in parallel and multi-task between tactical project execution andstrategic delivery efficiency. The Program Manager will be proactive intracking the success of the program and reporting results to leadership.
Job responsibilities including but not limited to: Provide leadership in developing and implementing a cohesive programstrategy Facilitate and engage stakeholders with diverse perspectives toincrease effectiveness and impact of partnership programs Forecast and track program metrics, regular reporting ofprogram results to leadership Proactively assess and recommend solutions for assignedprograms Complete reviews ofprogram applications to ensure adherence to program rules and requirements Develop KPIs toensure accurate program results and delivery quality Coordinatewith program evaluators to understand evaluation plans and communicate programprocedures to staff Managedirect reports and oversee program staff. This includes interviewing, planning,assigning, completing performance evaluations, coaching, mentoring anddirecting work Managemulti-million budget to ensure full utilization of funds while meeting orexceeding program goals Leadand attend relevant presentations and meetings related to the program Able toinfluence large organizations and senior stakeholders Relies andcreates sustainable systems and tools to provide objective data and status Job Dimensions: Leaddevelopment and implementation of programs Managemultiple project teams and report program results Manage and communicate risks relevant to the program, onan ongoing basis Main Interfaces: Collaboratewith program evaluators Reportprogram statuses and results to functional leadership
Qualifications Knowledge, Experience & Technical Know How: Experience 10-15 years of project management experience 5 years of experience in program management includingleading process improvements, managing complex technologyprojects in utilities or other regulated industries Experience in project management office operations gained througheducation, experience or skill certification. Experience overseeing the execution of projects to ensure goalsand objectives are met within established milestones. Experience with Change Management processes Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Business, Engineering, orrelated discipline or equivalent work experience MBA orequivalent graduate degree (preferred) Knowledge & Technical Know-how: Proven experience with juggling and prioritizing a broadrange of projects Knowledgeof relevant industry practices, trends, and legislation Proficiency in financialmanagement Proficient in trackingsystems/databases Ability to analyze andinterpret data, work with mathematical concepts Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical,organizational, interpersonal and conflict management skills Proven technical knowledge in utilities and/or regulatedindustries is highly desirable Proficiencyin relevant software e.g. Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). PMPcertification or equivalent preferred Scrum or agile certification desired (Scrum Master, etc) Ability to workwithin a time bounded environments to meet response SLA and OLA
