The Data Control Engineer is primarily responsible for providing operations with the appropriate work instructions and maintaining master data for the IT systems. This includes creation, maintenance, control, approval and training related to all technical data in either paper formats or electronic media.

Key Job Requirements

1. Responsible for the development and creation of Repair Station paperwork, work instructions and procedures.

2. Maintain, revise and control all Repair Station work instructions
  • Assembly Sheets
  • Disassembly Sheets
  • Customer Work Specifications
  • Fits and Clearances
  • Service Bulletins and A.D. Notes Summary sheet
  • Clean/NDT requirements
  • Repair instructions
  • Inspection records
  • Test Cell instructions

3. Support Operations Department with paperwork issues as they arise

4. Read and interpret Overhaul Manual, Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, Standard Practice Manuals and Component Maintenance Manuals. Convert all revisions into CEC paperwork.

5. Responsible for the accurate incorporation of Master Data into SAP, ESVR, E-fits and Solumina.

6. Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S and continuous improvement programs by complying with all policies and procedures, completing all required training and supporting all applicable committee activities.
Qualifications Experience/Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Experience with the following programs and manuals preferred:
Solumina, eFits, SAP, ESVR, and Engine Manuals.

Engine Overhaul experience preferred.

Additional Comments: Must be willing to support all shifts

AA/AS in Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline w/3+ years experience or

BA/BS in Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline
