Customer Technical Service (CTS) organization is seeking a qualified candidate to learn and provide Engine System Components hardware technical support. The CTS organization supports the PW2000, PW6000, PW4000 engine models.

The successful candidate will work directly with Field Representatives and airline customers to address technical service issues including:

1. Resolution of system components (i.e. fuel controls, actuators, EECs, air/fuel/oil heat exchangers, bleed valves, etc.) related service inquiries (EagleNet cases/CACTUS wires) and issues with appropriate CIPT, IPT, Business center, UTAS, Cat 1 suppliers and other CTS hardware specialists.

2. Development of maintenance and retrofit plans to ensure that customers have reliable and cost-effective operations.

3. Development of industry support programs and fleet management strategies to resolve service reliability problems.

Typical duties include:

1. Preparation of technical communications to customers advising them of new issues or in response to inquiries.

2. Close coordination with engineering and other groups to resolve design, service, or support problems.

3. Review of new or changed designs for impact on airline requirements.

4. Recommend configuration standards or logistics support requirements for customer’s in service equipment.

5. Review/coordinate service bulletins (P&W, Vendor) and any related Component maintenance manuals (CMM’s) (P&W, Vendor) as required.

6. Participate in customer communication activities, including technical conferences and meetings.

7. EEC Fault message analysis


Qualification: 0+ years’ experience in test, design, overhaul and/or repair engineering or equivalent.
Experience with Engine System components is a plus. General knowledge of gas turbine engines and experience with airline customers is also favorable.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
