We seek an IT Business Systems Analyst to join a new team with a role focused on coordinating efforts across a team of experts at Sandia in software and data security, secure software development, machine learning and analytics\. As an integral member of a small team, you will help organize and focus the efforts of the team, communicate across multiple levels of management, facilitate meetings and workshops to understand processes and needs, research and test new IT technologies, and manage schedules and budgets\. The willingness to adapt to changing needs and the ability to interact and cooperate with a diverse set of colleagues is a strong advantage in this position\.



Required:



+ Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or equivalent field of study\.



Desired:



+ Works independently or in conjunction with others\.

+ Ability to work with the Microsoft Office Suite\.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

+ Ability to receive and complete team assignments

+ Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent field of study\.

+ Familiarity with SNL Processes and Tools such as Cost Estimating Tool, ARC, Reportville, Human Resources\.

+ Experience with project management\.

+ Familiarity with System Development Life Cycles

+ Experience with Lean Six Sigma\.



Department Description:



The Advanced Information Security department plays a key role in defending Sandia against internal and external cyber\-attacks\. It is a significant contributor to the establishment and advancement of Sandia's Application and Data Security Program and capabilities, including the development of appropriate controls and monitoring when acquiring, storing, using, distributing, and integrating data\. The department will also develop capabilities to detect both malicious and inadvertent threats using layered security, including solutions based on the detection of anomalous behavior associated with applications, data, and users\.

Security Clearance:



Position requires a Department of Energy \(DOE\)\-granted L\-level security clearance\.



Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre\-employment drug testing, and a pre\-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications\.
