Description: Description The Gas BusinessEnablement (GBE) project is a major long-term investment in our US gas businessto enhance compliance, improve customer service, rate case strategy andperformance. This newly created project will be a significant undertakingfor the business as we standardize and simplify our operational processes,upgrade the technical systems they run on, build on our compliance programs ina rapidly changing external environment, develop and enhance how we usetechnology in the field and ensure we have the right talent and resource plansto successfully deliver to our customers.
Reporting to the BusinessEngagement & Readiness Lead Program Manager, as part of the central ChangeManagement Office (CMO) the successful candidate will lead in the planning,execution, and evaluation of business engagements in support of the strategic changeplans to support National Grid’s continuous improvement efforts for the GBEProgram. This person will focus on the engagement of the workforce throughthe change and responsible for coordinating the full range of activities bothcentrally and within each of the individual work streams in the program.

Key Accountabilities: · Lead & manage the business engagement activities& messaging strategies with all critical internal and externalstakeholders. · Partners with stakeholders undergoingchange to develop stakeholder engagement strategies, milestones and outcomes, definingappropriate strategies to move the business forward in coordination with theprogram and consistent with our communication strategy · Supporting the adoption of changeprocesses through establishing and executing change plans and communicationsthroughout Program lifecycle. · Supporting the development of changemetrics and evaluating the level of change adoption across businesses impactedby continuous improvement projects. · Creating the internal control guidelinesfor the effective execution of engagement strategies · Ensuring forward visibility of BusinessEngagement activities and proactive alignment within program and wider business · Aligning with Corporate CommunicationsBusiness Partner to create and develop communications on behalf of the Programin line with Stakeholder strategy and business engagement approach · In line with Change Management Officeservice offering support the Workstream Change teams to align businessengagement activities around the Change Strategy, looking for innovativesolutions to build buy in and commitment to the change . CapabilityRequirements: · Working knowledge of the principles andpractices of effective Project Management with Very strong organisationalskills and an ability to meet deadlines. · Experience designing and implementingstakeholder engagement strategies. · Self-motivated, able to work well withothers, and on own initiative, to successfully drive a wide range of engagementactivities working with colleagues across the organisation. · An experienced effective communicator ableto provide expert advice and guidance on how best to engage with GBEstakeholders in a meaningful way. · Experienced in designing & facilitatingevents as well as online forums. · Have a creative approach to developing andplanning tailored campaigns that involve and engage a variety of stakeholders · Experience of working in/with a large,complex organisation, and working in partnership with a number oforganisations/stakeholder communications. · Strong interpersonal skills, and theability to effectively collaborate and build relationships · Excellent communication skills, bothwritten and verbal. · A flair for building relationships andconfidence to influence at a senior level, both inside and outside of theorganisation. · Solid understanding & knowledge ofeffectively managing organizational change · Experience of analysing complex data, andthe ability to translate information to deliver clear briefings and otherwritten material. · Proven experience of managing risks andissues across projects , Programs · Results driven yet self-aware
Qualifications . Knowledge& Experience Requirements: · 3+ year of experience in ProjectManagement, Certification a plus · Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degreepreferred, in Organizational development, Training & · role Development, Human Resources,Leadership or other related area · Minimum of 2 years in a leadership · Understanding of the Gas Utility business · Experience of designing and implementingstakeholder engagement strategies · Experience in leading engagement changeefforts · An experienced effective communicator · Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel · Working knowledge of MS Project an asset
