Description: Description The Gas Business Enablement (GBE) project is a major long-term investment in our US gas business to enhance compliance, improve customer service, rate case strategy and performance. This newly created project will be a significant undertaking for the business as we standardize and simplify our operational processes, upgrade the technical systems they run on, build on our compliance programs in a rapidly changing external environment, develop and enhance how we use technology in the field and ensure we have the right talent and resource plans to successfully deliver to our customers.

Reporting to the Business Engagement & Readiness Lead Program Manager, as part of the central Change Management Office (CMO) the successful candidate will lead in the planning, execution, and evaluation of business engagements in support of the strategic change plans to support National Grid’s continuous improvement efforts for the GBE Program. This person will focus on the engagement of the workforce through the change and responsible for coordinating the full range of activities both centrally and within each of the individual work streams in the program.

Key Accountabilities: · Lead & manage the business engagement activities & messaging strategies with all critical internal and external stakeholders.

· Partners with stakeholders undergoing change to develop stakeholder engagement strategies, milestones and outcomes, defining appropriate strategies to move the business forward in coordination with the program and consistent with our communication strategy

· Supporting the adoption of change processes through establishing and executing change plans and communications throughout Program lifecycle.

· Supporting the development of change metrics and evaluating the level of change adoption across businesses impacted by continuous improvement projects.

· Creating the internal control guidelines for the effective execution of engagement strategies

· Ensuring forward visibility of Business Engagement activities and proactive alignment within program and wider business

· Aligning with Corporate Communications Business Partner to create and develop communications on behalf of the Program in line with Stakeholder strategy and business engagement approach

· In line with Change Management Office service offering support the Workstream Change teams to align business engagement activities around the Change Strategy, looking for innovative solutions to build buy in and commitment to the change

. Capability Requirements: · Working knowledge of the principles and practices of effective Project Management with Very strong organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines.

· Experience designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies.

· Self-motivated, able to work well with others, and on own initiative, to successfully drive a wide range of engagement activities working with colleagues across the organisation.

· An experienced effective communicator able to provide expert advice and guidance on how best to engage with GBE stakeholders in a meaningful way.

· Experienced in designing & facilitating events as well as online forums.

· Have a creative approach to developing and planning tailored campaigns that involve and engage a variety of stakeholders

· Experience of working in/with a large, complex organisation, and working in partnership with a number of organisations/stakeholder communications.

· Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· A flair for building relationships and confidence to influence at a senior level, both inside and outside of the organisation.

· Solid understanding & knowledge of effectively managing organizational change

· Experience of analysing complex data, and the ability to translate information to deliver clear briefings and other written material.

· Proven experience of managing risks and issues across projects , Programs

· Results driven yet self-aware

Knowledge & Experience Requirements:

· 3+ year of experience in Project Management, Certification a plus

· Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred, in Organizational development, Training &

· role Development, Human Resources, Leadership or other related area

· Minimum of 2 years in a leadership

· Understanding of the Gas Utility business

· Experience of designing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategies

· Experience in leading engagement change efforts

· An experienced effective communicator

· Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel

· Working knowledge of MS Project an asset
