We seek a dedicated individual who will operate various systems required for power plant operations that include the following; fuel feed conveyors, ash conveyors, ash conditioning systems, air quality control systems (AQSC), various air and water fans, pumps, compressors, piping and valves, motors, electrical disconnects and circuit breakers. The successful candidate will be required to qualify in operating forklifts, skid steers, and other designated heavy/industrial equipment.

Qualified individuals should be able to read and understand all company safety policies and programs, including Lock-out, Confined Space, Hot Work, etc., as well as, process diagrams and blue prints, technical manuals, and written and verbal instructions and procedures.

Must be able follow the instructions of the Shift Supervisor or other designated personnel, and work within a team environment.


The successful candidate must have a recognized High School Diploma or G.E.D. with the State Department of Education and 1 year or more power plant or heavy industrial experience. Must be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts, satisfactorily complete the facility Qualifying Standards and other technical training required for the position, and work in noisy, hot, humid, and dirty environments.
