Description: Description About the Position: The Automation Program Analyst will provide analysis and support to the Process Automation Center of Excellence in all deliverables during the define, design, configure, test and roll out phases of the automation delivery cycle. The Analyst reports directly into the Automation Manager and will support the delivery of individual process automations. This position works to deliver innovative solutions that drive improved process capabilities, create efficiencies and improve accuracy. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Ensure the business needs are understood and delivered against in each step of the delivery cycle to ensure the automation solution meets the business customers need Remove blockers to delivery and escalate issues when appropriate Develop, coordinate, distribute and maintain program templates Design, develop, publish, and maintain management dashboards for key initiatives. Provide meaningful visual representations of information to allow at a glance analysis. Facilitate and/or participate in meetings as a resource for questions related to work streams and initiatives relating to timeline and deliverable management Work directly with decision makers and end users to capture and document current and possible future operational goals, needs, and requirements Develop and coordinate presentations and materials for executive management meetings, internal and external progress / status meetings Facilitate effective brainstorming sessions Anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks inclusive of proposing resolutions to them Extract, collect, and break down work into process steps Maintains timelines, tracking practices, processes and procedures, and deliverables Responsible for building collaborative and effective relationships within CoE team Identify automation and process improvement ideas to implement for CoE operations Writes and maintain desk level procedures as needed Must perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications Knowledge & Experience Required: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree required 3+ years of technical experience required; strong people, process, and business focus preferred MS Office proficiency including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with facilitating project timelines, tickets, enhancement and change requests is required A clear ability to present complex processes and break them down into understandable and relatable terms interacting with all levels of the organization Experience in program management, with a focus on change management, process improvement and operations are strongly preferred Experience in standard development lifecycle and process improvement are strongly preferred Analytical thinking and experience with data analysis tools and methodologies Working knowledge of company systems (CSS, CRIS, SAP) preferred This position is one of National Grid’s career path roles which provide for promotional opportunities within and across salary bands as you develop and evolve in the position by gaining experience, expertis
