The F135 Sustainment Program provides technical and logistic products and services to the worldwide F135 propulsion fleet including Support Equipment, Joint Technical Data, Repair Development, Engineering Technical Services, Training Services, Fleet Operations, Supply Chain Management, Maintenance Services, Site/Depot Activation, and Fleet Management Services.

The F135 Sustainment team is seeking a qualified candidate to serve as the Associate Director, Sustainment Program Management. This Senior Level Managerial position will be responsible for managing the F135 sustainment program including the following activities:

  • Manage a team of approximately 22 direct reports under 3 supervisors
  • Oversee the cost, schedule and performance of the active sustainment contracts
  • Including initial baseline activities, cost risk management, integrated master scheduling, and monthly cost reporting to the customer
  • Participate in the requirements determination, proposal development, negotiations, and contract award for Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) site activation, depot activation, and performance based logistics (PBL) sustainment proposals
  • Oversee sustainment integration of Rolls-Royce lift system support and United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) controls and accessory support
  • Develop F135 sustainment and spare part sales forecast and monitor performance in coordination with F135 Finance
  • Responsible for the planning and management of 3 overhead budgets for East Hartford, domestic, and international sustainment departments.
