Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering

The Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg, School of Science, Engineering and Technology, invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position in Mechanical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Technology, with a Fall Semester 2018 starting date. We are seeking exceptional candidates in all areas of Mechanical Engineering. Candidates should be qualified to teach courses in the core curriculum of a mechanical engineering and mechanical engineering technology programs. Candidates are expected to engage in research and scholarly activities, participate in school/College/University and professional service, assist with ABET accreditation processes, and advise students. A Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline is required. Preference will be given to candidates with industrial expertise and teaching experience. PE license is a plus. Information about the College can be found at http://harrisburg.psu.edu/science-engineering-technology The College offers ABET-accredited BS degree programs in CE, EE, EET, ME, MET, and SDCET, in addition to several graduate degree programs.
