The Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering (located in Byblos, Lebanon) invites applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the field of mechanical Engineering effective September 2017/ January 2018.  Candidates must have an undergraduate degree in engineering and a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering. Applications are mainly sought in the areas of manufacturing and design, experimental/computational fluid dynamics. Only outstanding applicants in other areas of specialization will be considered. The successful candidates will be expected to teach at both the graduate and undergraduate levels and to actively participate in research as well as to perform services to the university.
