Perform high end condition monitoring and shaft alignment services for existing and new industrial customers.  Investigate the machinery, production processes, plants, and products and services of new and existing industrial customers to determine the optimal condition monitoring techniques to be used. Create and improve customized high end condition monitoring strategies for industrial customers.


Requirements are Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related engineering field plus two years experience working directly with online and handheld condition monitoring products and software in the maritime industry. Must have ISO Certification as a Vibration Analyst: Category II issued by a recognized authority such as Mobius, Vibration Institute or BINDT. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs of equipment, climb ladders in excess of 100 ft. (windmills), and work in cramped spaces (ship's engine room).

Must live within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA for at least 1 year from date of hire to work at Philadelphia office when not traveling. After 1 year from date of hire could live anywhere within the continental United States. During 1st year travel 50-75% to sites of industrial customers throughout the United States, typically for 1-2 weeks at a time. Travel may also include work abroad vessels at sea which could require meeting the vessel at a foreign port and staying aboard until a suitable departure can be arranged by the ship's company. After 1st year travel will be more than 75% of the time and will also include travel to Philadelphia, PA and San Diego, CA offices of company.
