Description: Description About the Position:
Jurisdiction Finance, Snr Analyst, FERC Revenue Performance performs the accurate completion of billing for the transmission contracts or gas works under FERC tariffs in order to maximize the Company revenues. Responsible to perform the development of efficient billing processes.
Reports to the Manager, FERC Revenue Performance and performs the billing activities for the FERC jurisdiction.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Performs the billing processes in the jurisdiction to assure accurate and timely revenue collection.

Performs quality assurance for all processes.

Handles commercial customer inquiries and disputes.

Prepares billing and usage information for external financial reporting.

Performs month-end closing activities relating to the billing group information

Supports overall revenue analytics process.

Interacts significantly with the gas construction team and customer team regarding customer collections.

Participates in performance modelling to support planning and budgeting scenario analyses.
Supports monthly forecasts, budgets and KPIs to increase financial profitability, maximize profits and achieve growth in the jurisdiction.
Qualifications Knowledge and Experience Required: Billing Business unit finance Business partnering Financial analysis Accounting practices Budgeting, accurate forecasting and KPIs Company operating and business plans Analysis of business performance Project management Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s preferred, with a minimum of 3 years in finance roles with increasing scope and leading financial processes Experience in financial management and organizational budget planning Demonstrated ability to create and financial metrics and budgets Knowledge of utility Finance practices Demonstrated knowledge of finance systems and business process Strong financial acumen and analytic skills Ability to work across department and geographic boundaries Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning and execution skills Excellent written and oral communication skills This position is one of National Grid’s career path roles which provide for promotional opportunities within and across salary bands as you develop and evolve in the position by gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
