Description: Description About the Position: Financial Analyst, Complex Capital Delivery is responsible for partnering with the Complex Capital Delivery team to manage capital delivery performance. Works closely with the Project Financial Analysis team to report complex capital portfolio financial performance, identify trends and provide financial insight. Responsible for working with multiple stakeholders to drive the improvement of capital delivery capability. Reports to the Manager, Finance Business Partnering, Complex Capital Delivery
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Support the Complex Capital Delivery Initiative Manage benefits tracking for Complex Capital Delivery Initiative Act as a trusted advisor to the business partner Interpret, explain, communicate, drive and hold the business accountable for financial performance Support the development of strategic business plans Focus on ad-hoc value added initiatives rather than recurring activities Advise and provide financial support to keep Complex Capital Delivery aligned with wider Company strategy Develop financial analysis which can lead to the delivery of reduced cost, efficiencies and performance improvement within the Capital Delivery Strategic Business Plan Provide financial management support for the Complex Capital Delivery cost of function Review and manage budgeting and forecasting activities and work with Corporate Finance to ensure budget and forecast updates are provided accurately and timely Support Cadence Review meetings and addresses any follow-up reporting needs Support business change Ensure proper support to meet business requirements of financial and non-financial controls
Knowledge and Experience Required: Planning, budgeting and forecasting Capital reporting and analysis Capitalization rules and accounting Ability to analyze and provide insight on capital spending financial performance Cross-functional business partnering Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years in finance roles with increasing scope and leading financial processes Experience in financial management and financial and performance reporting Strong ability to build cross-functional relationships to create and implement financial metrics and budgets Finance systems and business process Financial acumen and analytic skills Strong ability to work across department and geographic boundaries Ability to manage competing priorities through effective planning and execution skills Advanced computer skills in MS Excel, MS Work, MS PowerPoint and MS Access; SAP and PowerPlan knowledge beneficial Excellent written and oral communication skills
