Lead a team of salaried Quality Professionals chartered to implement, maintain, and improve the quality system of Pratt & Whitney. This position reports directly to the Director, Advanced Quality Systems and provides timely and high quality support to internal customers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will lead the quality functions of Advanced Quality Systems (Quality System documentation, Contract Review, Quality Plans) in support of Group and UTC Initiatives.

Candidate will supervise and direct the daily activity of a team of associates responsible for the preparation and maintenance of quality system documents. These duties require the ability to provide innovative approaches for resolution of complex problems within manufacturing and quality programs. The candidate will support successful integration of new engine programs, business entities, and key program initiatives into the PW Management System.

The candidate will also provide direction and support to ensure contract/regulatory requirements are flowed down to and understood by responsible business units via applicable policies/procedures.

*Education / Certifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Industrial Technology, Quality Management, Engineering or other related technical degree preferred

*Experience / Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of:

ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 in theory and practice,

Large Organization Quality Management Systems,

Contracts including Commercial and Military,

Civil Aviation Authority, FAA and TCCA requirements and practice,

Procurement in an Aerospace environment.

7+ years of quality, manufacturing and/or contract administration experience.

Ability to work with all levels of management, personnel, suppliers and customers.

Organization/project management, leadership skills to motivate, develop & positively encourage your team.

Superior interpersonal, communications and writing skills are required.

High degree of computer literacy required.

Ability to lead change and continuously improve through a service orientation desired.
