We are seeking Administrative Support to support the International Travel Office. Day to day operations include having a positive customer service orientation, paying attention to detail on international trips, utilizing teamwork to contribute to the overall effectiveness of the ITO, and an ability to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the ITO's security role for Sandia as a whole.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

+ Perform administrative support tasks for a specific function, project, or organization.
+ Gather, collect, record, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources.
+ Review and analyzes data and information and reconciles report discrepancies.
+ Use common office software and proprietary software to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, and graphs; to review status of projects and budgets; and to create presentations.
+ May design processes to enhance workflow.
+ Assist in implementing and administering Sandia National Laboratories' policies and programs and provides guidance, interpretation, and administrative assistance on a wide variety of procedures.

Required:



+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Desired:

+ Strong track record of performance in support of mission work.
+ Ability to learn to work with new software programs.
+ Excellent communications and teaming.
+ Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of study.
+ Background in security.
+ Background and/or interest in other countries.



The International Travel and Risk Management Department of Sandia National Laboratories provides a suite of security services for the international operations conducted by the labs in fulfilling U.S. national security mission work. The department maintains two teams: the International Travel Office (ITO) and the International Business Risk Management (IBRM) team. The ITO 1) administers the corporate High-Risk Travel Process, 2) provides security training to Sandians prior to international travel, and 3) supports security and duty-of-care needs while Sandians are on international travel. The IBRM Team is a separate component of the department assigned to executing secure event management, solving logistical challenges, and engaging in other activities including mitigating legal risks of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) compliance.

Security Clearance:


Position requires a Department of Energy (DOE)-granted L-level security clearance.

Sandia is required by DOE directive to conduct a pre-employment drug testing, and a pre-employment background review that includes personal reference checks, law enforcement record and credit checks, and employment and education verifications. Applicants for employment must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
