The Pratt & Whitney ACE Office is looking for a high performance & goal oriented professional to manage ACE activities primarily in Engineering and Business Process Sites. The incumbent is responsible for driving continuous improvement and transformation activities that ensure business processes deliver to customer needs. The individual will support the site ACE Councils and leadership in developing and managing plans to meet current ACE criteria to achieve or sustain ACE Gold performance and deliver business benefits using ACE. This incumbent is responsible for integrating good practices and ACE initiatives within the managed sites and sharing across to other client managers and sites.

In addition, this role will provide short term support to the PW Engineering sites to improve supplier performance in on-time delivery and quality. The individual will develop relationships internally and externally employing their Lean / Continuous Improvement skills to achieve supplier performance. The individual will be responsible for identifying opportunities in waste elimination and process improvement, engaging teams internally and externally to PW, developing gap plans with the extended team and following their progress to ensure desired results are being achieved.

The candidate will lead/ facilitate process improvement teams, coach others in the site or supplier to develop leaders for site sustainment including the development of standards. This position will report to the Pratt & Whitney ACE Office, and be responsible for, but not limited to, the following.

1. Work with cell/site/value stream and/ or supplier leaders to identify and prioritize improvement initiatives to achieve business results using best practice Process Management tools ( SIPOC, Control Tower, Impact/Maturity analysis, MFA, QCPC, etc ) and/or the Supplier Customer Improvement Plan.
2. Develop and coach sustainable ACE Councils and leaders
3. Establish appropriate improvement strategies based on the nature of opportunities. (Lead time reduction = VSM/Lean, Quality improvement = QCPC/ProCert, Major process change = 3P, etc.)
3. Partnering with site leaders to drive ACE initiatives and transformation activities while improving overall KPIs and performance.
4. Coach, facilitate or lead advanced improvement events including: Value Stream Mapping of complex value streams, Mixed Model and Shared Resource Cell Design applications, Process Certification, Operations Analysis / Lean Cell Design, and Red X based Root Cause Analysis.
5. Coach individuals in key roles to develop ACE proficiency by leveraging formal training, improvement events, and mentoring. Manage portfolio of certified event leads to gain organizational self sufficiency
6. Manage the execution of periodic formal assessments to gain and sustain ACE Gold certification.
7. Implementation of a successful tracking and monitoring system for sustainment and progress towards ACE Gold, KPI performance, etc. consolidating performance metrics, projects, and ACE activities.
8. Enhancing the program to world class levels through innovation and benchmarking, driving business unit and site self-sufficiency.
9. Create, standardize, and automate processes related to managing the ACE operating system.
10. Facilitate ACE event management in the ACE Certification Portal to enable success of individual event, document proficiency of event participants, and communicate both results and methods used to achieve them for others to leverage.
