This position will work collaboratively with team members in a centralized Accounts Payable Customer Service function in providing a consistent, high-level service to internal and external customers. Position requirements include:
  • Main point of contact for designated field personnel and external vendor inquiries regarding Accounts Payable processing cycle
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies associated with customer account status, Purchase Order (PO) mapping, voucher coding, invoice processing and payment
  • Communicate with customers on status of matters requiring attention and timing of inquiry resolution
  • Work with Procurement and Accounting departments to assist with on-boarding vendors onto the Company's automated invoice receipt system
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures related to the internal control process over the Accounts Payable function
  • Assist with Internal Audit inquires

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field of study
  • 3 to 5 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with outgoing personal presence
  • Proactive approach to achieve required results
  • Ability to analyze information, formulate decisions/recommendations and bring closure to issues/problems
  • Solid organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
  • People Soft experience preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite
